So. Um. I realise this question might be a bit intrusive, but I was just wondering- Is any of you able to see a Thestral? It's for a private Care of Magical Creatures project, and since both Rosalind and I can't see them, we really need help from someone who can.
On another note, I'm thinking of cutting my hair. It's getting annoyingly long and it's in the way all the bloody time, but I don't really know what to do with it. Thoughts? I feel like doing something different.
Lastly, is it just me, or has it been suspiciously quiet lately? It feels like the dungbomb is going to drop any day now.

I'm glad to see things have calmed down a bit. Even if it took a bloody fight to bring back the quiet. As long as it's not just the quiet before the next storm, that is.
I'm pleased to tell you my Astronomy essay is finally done. I do think it's one of the best essays I've ever written. (Granted, that doesn't say very much.) Still, thanks again, Remus! You were a huge help.
In other news, does anyone know what has become of the Charms club? I remember hearing you about it, Alice, but I haven't a clue when it's actually starting. I could use a distraction from all those homework assignments by now. I feel like having a picnic outside or something. Anyone interested?

It would be very nice if we could keep the war zone out of Hogwarts, thank you very much. And no, I don't care what the ruckus is all about and who started it. Just stop it. And leave my friends alone. We didn't get these journals so we could verbally bash each other's heads in.
On to happier news. I got a letter from home today, and apparently one of our Aethonons is pregnant and will be giving birth soon. It seems Alexander and Honey finally gave up on their endless feud and decided they liked each other after all. It should be interesting to see how they'll cope as new parents! It's a shame I won't be there to see the birth, though. It's been years since the last one and back then Mum wouldn't let me watch.
Oh, that reminds me. Alice, Mum sent along some cookies for you and she said to tell you you're welcome to drop by over the Christmas hols if you want. Obviously I'd love to have you around, but don't feel obligated to come, yeah? You know how Mum can get. By the way, do you feel like doing anything tonight? Are you okay?
